Teal22 topical CBD cream – The best and most potent natural ingredients, working perfectly for you

Once you try Teal22, you’ll find out what all the fuss is about! But until then, we’d like to introduce you to the hero ingredients your body has been waiting for.

For a start, unlike many other CBD skincare and muscle balm offerings, ours is 100% natural:

Free from synthetic perfumes, harsh chemicals and a wide range of toxic additives we’d never want to put on our own skin, or have you put on yours.

We know that plenty of people interested in using a CBD cream have very sensitive skin, or uncomfortable skin conditions, so we’ve made a product with you in mind while still keeping our focus on packing a punch with results.

    Cannabis-derived Ingredients

    Hemp Seed Oil

You may have come here looking for CBD (more on that below), but did you know that cannabinoids, and the cannabinoid-rich flowers/leaves of the cannabis plant are not the only parts worth raving about? Hemp seed oil, extracted from the seeds of the hemp plant, offers an incredible range of benefits. So we’ve included both hemp seed oil and CBD in this cream for the very best results!

According to an overview study, hemp seed oil has a perfect omega 3:6 ratio, all 21 amino acids and B vitamins, and a sizable dose of other vitamins and minerals which includes vitamins E, potassium, magnesium, carotene, phytosterols, phospholipids, sulphur, phosphorus, calcium, iron and zinc. This is an extraordinary feat of nature and cannot be said for any other oil.

On top of this, hemp seed oil has been found to be:

    • High in antioxidants
    • Anti-inflammatory
    • Non-comedogenic (meaning it won’t clog your pores)
    • Suitable for all skin types

Hemp Seed oil can have a wide range of benefits when applied directly on your skin.

Hemp seed extracts have anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties

Linoleic acid (LA), a fatty acid, is the most abundant fat that makes up the outer layer of our skin and is the parent fat of omega-6. As a result, LA plays a central role in restoring damaged skin and maintaining it. Studies show that LA can help maintain the skin’s water barrier, raise its sunburn threshold, and encourage wound healing and cell death of malignant cells such as melanoma.

Our bodies can also use LA to produce arachidonic acid, which we use to produce, among other compounds, the endocannabinoids anandamide and 2-arachidonoylglycerol.

Not only do hemp seed extracts contain a high level of LA, but in vivo treatment of skin cells with hemp seed extract was shown to reduce inflammation and microbial growth.

Hemp seed extracts can stimulate collagen production

The skin’s mechanical strength, resilience, and elasticity are mainly due to collagen, the skin’s primary building block. Hemp seed extracts can raise collagen production in vitro, suggesting that hemp seed extract might be valuable in the skin regeneration process.

    Adverse Reactions

Hemp seed oil does not commonly have any side effects. Nonetheless, it is good practice when trying any new product for the first time to test for potential rashes in a small area.

    Cannabidiol (CBD)

The star of the show! Cannabidiol (or CBD) is one of over 140 cannabinoids in the cannabis plant, and the second with the most research conducted into how it interacts with the body and its effects. CBD interacts with our endocannabinoid system (ECS), a complex network of receptors in the body that acts as our ‘homeostatic regulator’, to keep everything in balance and working as it should. CBD can also interact with other receptors, such as serotonin, dopamine, vanilloid and G protein-coupled (GPR55) receptors. There’s nothing else quite like it, and many cannabinoid researchers, who have now conducted thousands of studies investigating the ECS and cannabis, believe the therapeutic potential to be extensive.

As our Teal22 cream is both for topical use (skin surface) and transdermal (permeating into the muscles and joints), the CBD within can get to work the moment it is applied and continue long after.

Skincare: Every skin cell contains endocannabinoid receptors. The ECS must work correctly to maintain endocannabinoid tone, equating to overall skin health. The body releases endocannabinoids, which activate the ECS receptors. This process helps to regulate the normal function of the waterproof skin barrier – our first defence against microbes, UV rays, free radicals and pollution. When not functioning as it should, you may see inflammation, dryness, visible signs of ageing, a sebum imbalance, itching, and other uncomfortable symptoms. Fortunately, CBD helps support the ECS, whether on the surface of our skin or inside the body.

Muscle/joint care: The ECS is present throughout the body, including the muscles and joints, so just as maintaining a properly functioning ECS is vital for skin health, it’s also essential for everything else! The activation of the ECS brings every bodily function back into balance, including inflammation, which is often the cause of muscle and joint pain.

Furthermore, once in the bloodstream, CBD also directly activates serotonin and vanilloid receptors, both of which play a key role in pain transmission and regulation.

    Additional Ingredients

    Soothe & Protect

Shea butter, Coconut oil, Jojoba, Apricot, Aloe Vera, Hyaluronic Acid, Beta-glucans.

The Teal22 cream has a rich base, formulated using some of the most densely nutritious and moisturising ingredients the world has to offer. All of the above are bursting with vitamins, minerals, amino acids and tannins, for intense hydration, repair and detoxing actions.

Natural Antioxidants, Anti-Inflammatories and Healing Agents

Grapevine, Centella Asiatica, Horsetail, Dandelion, Arnica.

As our cream is designed to target both on the surface and internally, as it permeates through the skin, having a raft of potent anti-inflammatories and antioxidants was a must. We’ve included these ingredients largely for this purpose. In addition, The World Health Organisation has referred to Centella Asiatica for its traditional use in treating wounds and burns to prevent poor healing, while horsetail and dandelion are well documented for their cell-regeneration and arnica as a remedy for bruising or trauma.

    Vitamins & Amino Acids

    Vitamins E, C, Peptides.

Alongside the densely nutritious hemp seed oil used to partly make up the base of our product, we’ve included an extra boost of Vitamin E, C and peptides for good measure. Peptides and vitamins increase the synthesis of proteins such as collagen, keratin and elastin while vitamin E helps to keep dry skin hydrated.

    Essential Oils

    Peppermint, Lavender, Geranium, Cinnamomum Zeylanicum

Our proprietary blend of essential oils not only smells wonderful (you won’t find any synthetic fragrance here!), but each oil selected is a key player in the overall benefits of our cream. Anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, anti-septic, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties are well noted. Alongside this we also have analgesic actions, particularly in ginger, which reduces prostaglandins, responsible for activating pain processes caused by inflammation.

You won’t find anything in the Teal22 cream that isn’t listed here and, more importantly, that wasn’t meticulously selected to deliver the results your body needs – inside and out.
